Neighborhood-level histories often exist more in people’s personal memories, photographs, and keepsakes than in formal archives. Archives have also historically under-collected African American history. While this exhibit documents the stories of the district’s sites and residents currently available in the archive, there is always more information that can help tell a fuller story!
Do you recognize the name of a person or business in this exhibit?
